Tom Rice is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative for South Carolina’s 7th congressional district. The Bluffton district includes Myrtle Beach, the Grand Strand, Florence, Cheraw, and Darlington. Rice was first elected in 2012 as a Republican and was one of the class’s freshmen chosen to sit at the House GOP leadership table.
